Connect research to reality with Emu’s unique 2-day Passive Pod Workshop. Open to all Emu alumni, anyone enrolled in an accompanying Emu Passive Design/Build Course, and any certified PHI or PHIUS professional. In this fun, hands-on team building exercise, students are placed on site crews to simulate job roles. Through each Unit, they build their Passive Pods and, along the way, make various building science and product specification decisions. Every Unit of the build coincides with lessons learned in class, red flags they must catch, and design flaws they must recognize. Our Passive Pods are brand neutral and un-sponsored. No sales pitches or product plugs allowed. Just science.
