This list is not exhaustive, and we unfortunately cannot provide additional support with respect to any of these resources. Emu does not guarantee that any of these resources will be available to anyone accessing this information from this website or the accuracy or completeness of any the items on the list. This is purely informational as Emu’s way to assist you with your journey to Run Wild Build Passive™️ .

Want to offer financial assistance to your community for Emu Training?
Emu offers a streamlined solution for organizations to provide tuition subsidies:
- Purchase Funding Codes for designated amounts and quantity.
- Distribute these codes to chosen recipients.
- Confirm authorized use when codes are redeemed.
Recipients must adhere to normal Terms & Conditions, including registration deadlines. Redemption doesn’t guarantee a seat; recipients must register. You’ll be notified of code redemption, with a 3-day window to report unauthorized use. Codes are valid for one year and extendable upon request.

California
Through Emu’s partnership with the Tri-County Regional Energy Network (3CREN), those living and/or working in Ventura, Santa Barbara, or San Luis Obispo counties are eligible to apply for a full scholarship to any scheduled Emu Passive Design/Build Boot Camp. Please contact 3C-REN for details and to express interest in the next session.
Passive House California has generously donated fund to Emu in the name of any California resident who wants to take our training. Residents of CA are eligible for $500 towards any Boot Camp using the Funding Code “PHCAL500“, or $200 towards any Online Crew using the Funding Code “PHCAL200“. Use these in the Coupon Code field at checkout on our website, and send proof of CA residency to training[at]emupassive.com.
Colorado
Emu is an annual sponsor for the Colorado Green Building Guild (CGBG), which offers various scholarship opportunities to building professionals in the state. Please contact CGBG for more details.
Connecticut
Through the Energize Connecticut program, residents may be eligible for up to 50% reimbursement of fees. Please contact Connecticut Passive House for details.

Massachusetts
Through the Mass Save program, residents may be eligible for up to 50% reimbursement of fees. Participants must have a business or residential address in Massachusetts. If not, they must have a work history in the state to be deemed eligible. These situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. In the past, we have had students in Emu’s Passive Design/Build CPHT Boot Camp take advantage of Montana’s Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) program, which is a grant funding resource, helping to off-set a portion of skills-based training costs for incumbent (existing) workers employed by Montana’s small business.
