Building Science Presentations
We regularly provide free building science presentations in collaboration with our local partners. Check out the calendar for upcoming presentations.
Free Info Sessions
Once a month, we host a free 1-hour Zoom call where anyone is welcome to come in and ask questions about building science, Passive House, training, and project specific details. Check out the calendar for the next session.
Typically, the Free Info Session is on the 1st Thursday of the month at 5pm ET.
Passive House Free Continuing Education
Most of our building science presentations provide continuing education credits for Passive House Consultants, Designers, and Builders. Attending these presentations is a great way to keep up with the building science, and to renew your PHI CPHC, CPHD, and CPHT professional accreditation. The hands-on Passive Pod Workshop grants 16 CEU for CPHTs, CPHDs, and CPHCs (PHI).
If you are an Emu Alumn, attending an Open Office Hour grants you 1 CEU with PHI.
Emu’s in-person Passive House Social Events also grant 1 PHI CEU for CPHCs. CPHDs, and CPHTs.
Passive House Training, Certification, And Professional Networking
Passive House Online, In-person, And Hybrid Training Events
Emu’s online Passive House training includes a complimentary live Q&A session to answer students’ questions. Typically, these sessions are on the 1st Thursday of the month, at 4pm ET.

Passive House Certification Exams
Emu proctors Passive House certification exams for the CPHT accreditation.
These are scheduled as follows:
- once a quarter for the online training participants.
- on the Friday of the Boot Camp week for in-person and hybrid training participants.
Passive House Social Events
On the Friday of the Boot Camp week, Emu organizes a Passive House social event that is open to anyone interested in Passive House and building science.
These are great events to come and meet like-minded people, broaden your professional network, geek out about construction details and products, and find new opportunities.

Emu Alumni Open Office Hours
Emu’s Alumni Open Office hours is one of the exclusive benefits of taking your Passive House training with Emu.
Once a month, an Emu trainer is available for an hour on Zoom to answer project specific questions from professionals that have taken the Emu training.
